Rules of The Pirate’s Cove
Read this before you sail in. Staff decisions are final — respect the crew and you’ll be fine.
01 YOU MUST BE RESPECTFUL
YOU MUST BE RESPECTFUL — Treat everyone, including the server as a whole, with respect. (This means no derogatory language, racial slurs, sexism, nudity/sexual content, etc.) or harassment of any kind. Jokes or memes that target individuals or groups are not tolerated. This server is a 18+ server
02 SELF PROMO IS ONLY FOR PROMO CHANNELS
SELF PROMO IS ONLY FOR PROMO CHANNELS — Self-promotion is only allowed in designated channels and only when you meet the required XP rank. You may promote only your own content, not others', and not on behalf of friends or teammates. This is a support-for-support networking group, NOT a follow-for-follow group. Asking for F4F will result in a warning, and repeated instances will result in a ban.
03 NO DM’S or FRIEND REQUESTS
NO DM’S or FRIEND REQUESTS — No unsolicited friend requests or DMs, including unsolicited invites to other servers. If someone reports you for unsolicited DMs, staff may review chat logs and issue a warning or instant ban.
04 KEEP CREW CHAT POSITIVE
KEEP CREW CHAT POSITIVE — crew-chat and artwork are meant for casual, upbeat, and supportive conversation. Venting or heavy discussions belong in mental-health or angry-pirates.
05 NO ADVERTISING/COMMISSION
NO ADVERTISING/COMMISSION — No advertising or sales of any kind. Artists may post samples in artwork, but do not advertise commissions or request payment publicly and DO NOT DM people asking if they want graphics. If someone is interested, they can DM you on their own.
06 NO CHAT SPAMMING
NO CHAT SPAMMING — We run a level-based system in our server. Spamming in the chat may result in your XP being reset to zero and being timed out. Spam includes rapid-fire messages, copypastas, excessive emoji use, bot commands, or excessive gifs. Try to keep gifs in gif-wars.
07 NO POWER TAGS
NO POWER TAGS — Power tags (including @everyone, @here, and @armada notify) are ONLY to be used by staff.
08 RESPECT STAFF DECISIONS
RESPECT STAFF DECISIONS — Staff ultimately have final say. Do not argue with staff and respect the decisions they make.
09 NO POACHING
NO POACHING — No links to other discords are allowed anywhere within the server. If you would like to partner your server with ours, you must have a minimum of 300 members in your server and it must be well-moderated. Please make a ticket to discuss. Streamers who are clearly poaching from this community may be banned.
10 NO INAPPROPRIATE USERNAMES/PFPS
NO INAPPROPRIATE USERNAMES/PFPS — No inappropriate usernames or profile pictures. If we determine either of these items to be inappropriate, you will be asked to change it within 24 hours or face removal from the server.
